Brutally honest and rock hard emo; that’s what 32elephants plays. Sunny riffs on a drizzly day that remind you of places you vaguely remember but can’t let go of. But equally, it’s just a nice pot of emo with enough originality to not be trite and enough knowledge of the classics to also know where they came from.
This five-piece has a fresh take on the post-punk genre. Atonal riffs, critical lyrics and an extremely tight rhythm section are common in the genre, but Bowl takes a more light-hearted approach. All this without sacrificing energy, which remains unbridled.
Fit is a true Utrecht supergroup who make a mix of postpunk, shoegaze and… hip-hop. Originated at the HBA with familiar faces from the Domstad scene. For example, the guitarist plays in the band Apeshit and Ide, the front of the band, is better known as Mokerjong. Raw, in your face and just different, pretty chill actually.
