The itinerant festival De Popronde is back on and this weekend will visit The Hague. At the Zwarte Ruiter, we can expect a lot of post-punk.

On the cutting edge of post-punk-noise and other loud work, we find Hoofs. According to 3voor12, the band has no subtlety and that is precisely what we crave. No slick hooks, not too much thinking, just banging.

IOANA IORGU
Ioana Iorgu plays drums, guitar, writes songs and has taught herself everything. The artist from Groningen digs under your skin with unsettling post-punk and won’t leave until the last note has sounded. Scary visuals complete the set. Ioana Iorgu, who plays live with drummer Ollie Becker, wants to make sure you don’t forget her.

FEMME FUGAZI
Femme Fugazi describe themselves as angry music for even angrier girls. Spoken word combined with post-punk and a mindset like that of IDLES and METZ. Despite the foursome having only been on stage together since 2022, there are already many highlights to add to the band’s record; support acts for Claw Boys Claw and MODEL/ACTRIZ and the recently released single ‘Suffocate In Silence’. Hopefully, this show can be added as another highlight.
