HAYLID
During a deep dive into their parents’ record cabinet, the members of Haylid came across a lot of great stuff: ZZ Top, Beth Hart and many more classics from the blues-rock genre. But like so much beauty, it only got really exciting when the band started mixing these classic tones with contemporary hits like those of Nothing But Thieves. The result: banging indie blues rock from an equally exciting band, which can be heard on single ‘Keeping You Near’, which will be released during this show.
UNSTABLE ROSIE
Didn’t Ultravox sing about “Dancing With Tears In My Eyes”? The 1984 single anticipated the music Unstable Rosie would make some forty years later. This is the best way to describe the Hague band’s music. Something that originates at the crossroads of emotion and danceability. The Unstables‘ indie rock is full of small details and beautiful melodies, stories about joy in the heart and everyday pain.
