The Scots of High Fade can count Jack Black, Cypress Hill and Glen Hughes (Deep Purple) among their fans. Not the smallest names, which is understandable because the trio can certainly play a bop. Their mix of oldskool motown/soul and classic rock from the likes of Mötley Crüe is fairly unique and quite danceable. “High Fade doesn’t work unless there’s a crowd, a dance floor and people that want to get down” is the band’s own motto, and let that all be present when High Fade is at the Zwarte Ruiter.
