SUPERSONIC BLUES

With a healthy obsession for everything underground, Supersonic Blues burst onto the Hague scene years ago. From caverns and underground corners, they played thick heavy blues and rock n’ soul. The trio developed into a welcome guest, a band that filled a spot at Sniester several times and, above all, an act you can always rely on when it comes to rock solid fuzz. Now a decade later, the heavy fuzzed-out dad rock, as they call it themselves, has reached a new peak. A point where, as a listener, you just want more. Insatiable and eternally thirsty for more, this is how you leave a Supersonic Blues show.

ASBEST BOYS

This hardcore-punk juggernaut is that proverbial steamroller that doesn’t shy away from anything. All the way from Haarlem, this foursome comes with a sonic assault on the audience that is unparalleled. All hope is lost and with every riff a piece of your soul seems to crumble away. Fall down on your knees and pray for a miracle, but it seems to be an impossible task. Asbest Boys leave no stone unturned.

BLACK TARANTULA

Black Tarantula is the only netherkraut band in the world. We hear you wondering, “netherkraut, what is that again?” But we are not a music school, so we are not going to explain to you that this is a mishmash of psychedelic garage, kraut and surf. What we can tell you is that the band’s background is shrouded in mists. For instance, drummer Jesus can be found on the high seas every six weeks and organist Sun Rob claims to be a direct descendant of sun god Ra and regularly flies around the earth in a flying saucer. Most notable of the troupe is guitarist Mr Escobar, AKA. “The Colombian Connection”. This Colombian apparently had his favourite guitarist’s arm chopped off and sewn to his own body. So count on the band to carry a tune!
